The name of the company – Bering – was inspired by Danish sailor and explorer Vitus Bering . He set sail in 1728 for an unknown part of the Arctic Ocean. On the way to his destination, he crossed the famous straits that would later bear his name – the Bering Strait . Vitus Bering was also the first European to set foot on what is now Alaska. Even one of the 4 time zones in Alaska is called Bering time – it seems that a watch brand was destined to originate with these values.
The Bering 11429-766 is a ladies' watch made from rose gold ion plated stainless steel and white ceramic . The case carries dimensions of 29mm across and rises just 8mm off of the wrist. Ceramic can be found on the wide bezel and the much of the bracelet. The textured push/pull crown makes for easy adjustment of the time.
Securing the bracelet to the wrist is a single push release triple deployant crown made from rose gold ion plated stainless steel. This model features a water resistance rating of 50 meters. This means it's good in the shower but not suited for the ocean. The caseback is engraved with a map of the Arctic Circle, which really adds a bit of flair to this timepiece.
The white dial is glossy and it carries 12 crystal accents marking the hours. This classy watch is also fitted with sapphire crystal, which makes it virtually scratch proof. Powering the 11429-766 is a precise and accurate Japanese made quartz movement. vedere di piu replica watch e Chopard Mille Miglia
